While we're often admiring the style choices of Michelle Obama (who could forget those thigh-high glitter Balenciaga boots?), it was her husband's wardrobe which attracted attention yesterday.
Barack Obama was pictured attending a college basketball game in North Carolina yesterday (the Duke Blue Devils vs the North Carolina Tar Heels, if you're interested), wearing a black bomber jacket with '44' embroidered on the sleeve - in reference to his former role as 44th President of the United States.

The jacket in question is from Rag & Bone and retails for £390. Marcus Wainwright, founder and chief brand officer at the company, told GQ that they made the personalised version for Obama towards the end of his second term as president, and that they weren't "expecting him to wear it in public".
"The ‘44’ on the sleeve just felt like a subtle touch," he said. "Not many people could have pulled it off that way. He's got style."

He added: "It's a one-off and that's what's special about it... Making a jacket for the president, that’s fucking awesome. How else can you put it? When they look good in it, it’s even more gratifying."
Obama paired his jacket with a grey sweater, casual trousers and a pair of trainers from sustainable footwear label Allbirds.
Naturally, social media users loved the personalised jacket.
